Missile Command: Defending Cities Like a Pro

Three silos, six cities, infinite missiles. Here's how the experts protect their population.

Missile Command is fundamentally a triage game — you can't save everything, so you need to decide what to save and what to sacrifice. Cities are more valuable than silos (silos refill between waves, cities don't), so always prioritise intercepts near cities over silos. The key technique is 'pre-firing' — click ahead of incoming missiles rather than directly at them, placing your explosion in the path they'll reach in a second. Your three silos have different reload speeds; the centre silo fires fastest and most accurately. Use it for urgent threats, and the side silos for clustered groups. Group explosions strategically — one well-placed intercept missile in a cluster of enemy missiles is worth five individual intercepts. On later waves, incoming missiles split and change direction; track the trajectory changes and pre-fire for the split positions. Save your smartest silo shots for the smart bombs that weave between conventional intercepts. Never try to save all cities — surviving to wave 5 with four cities beats dying in wave 3 trying to protect all six.
